Cross Country clubs are for all ages. If you're primary, intermediate or college age it's not too early or late to start. We have members still running into their 80s so come along and see what it's all about.
With our harrier clubs catering for all ages and abilities, cross country is a fantastic family friendly sport. You may want to improve your fitness for specific events, such as 5km, 10km, half marathons or marathons, or just keep fit for other sports. Our clubs are there for everyone, young and old, fit or not so fit, super fast or super slow. It doesn't matter what level you are - everyone is welcome.
Training nights, club days and interclub competitions are available throughout the winter months. Come along and give cross country and road running a go.
There are interclub cross country and road running races held throughout the season for club members of all ages. These are held at a variety of venues around Wellington on Saturday afternoons. There are races for primary, intermediate and college ages such as under 9, under 11, under 13, under 15, under 18, under 20 plus adults grades too from seniors through to masters.
A number of our harrier clubs are involved with hosting local running events that are open to the public as well. Links for these will be posted here shortly.
