Athletics well represented for Nuku Ora Sport And Recreation Awards
The Athletics community of Wellington region is well represented by finalist named today by Nuku Ora for their Annual Sport And Recreation Awards. This years Awards Gala Dinner will be staged at the TSB arena on 23 June.
Emerging Talent category sees too outstanding young male distance runners, Will Anthony and Liam Lamb both named among the six finalists, alongside exciting young thrower Elizabeth Hewitt in the female category. In the disabled sportperson of the year two athletes Corran Hanning and Joshua Taylor are named among the four finalists. Marshall Clark who has heavily supported Junior and Senior track & field programmes is very deserved of his place as one of six finalist named as Volunteer of the year.
