Athletics Wellington to host Last Chance Meetings and Melrose Shield
Athletics Wellington Senior Track & Field wish to announce they will host two last chance meetings and the Melrose Shield Interclub relay meet to finish the senior season over the final three Saturdays of March. It is hoped that Track & Field athletes will take this opportunity to post some personal best performance to finish their summer.
An on the day entry and $5.00 entry fee will be required by each athlete.
There will be a small pool of prize money awarded to athletes based on performances. These awards will be for each Saturday of the Last Chance Meets ;
Athlete of the Meet Awards [AoMA] will be allocated across the event disciplines each week based on improved personal bests achieved. Prize Pool will be from funds allocated from entry fees.
Eligible athletes for AoMW will be those who have previous performance record in an AW meets or performances on the Athletics NZ ranking list
