Athletics Wellington Junior Championships Day 2
RESULTS and REVIEW
RESULTS HERE
The weekend of fine weather contributed to some excellent performances on Sunday at Newtown Park. After the sole Wellington Junior Championships record of Day one going to Holly Robins of Olympic equalling the 13 year Girls High jump of 1.60m held by Phoebe Edwards, this Sunday there were seven records posted by our young athletes. Congratulations to the following athletes who set new Wellington Junior Championship records on Day two. There was outstanding competition in the G11 Shotput, with the existing record being broken twice along with substantial improvements in the distance track events over the 1500m and Track Walks, a testament no doubt to the excellent conditions.
