Athletics Wellington Road Race Walking Championships
The latest Information HERE for the Athletics Wellington Race Walking Championships now to be staged
SATURDAY 2 October 2021
This is a competitive race walking event which also has non-championship event
the “A” grade championships events will be fully judged
Event Distances
The Athletics Wellington Championship event distances will be as follows.
10.0 km – Senior men and women, Masters men and women 35+ and Under 20 men and women
5.0 km – Men and women under 18 are
Non-championship B Grade Walkers can elect to enter in the 10km or 5km races and will be
judged for loss of contact and creeping.
There will be 2.0 km and 3.0 km non-championship races for juniors.
Medals will be presented for championship race 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, for Athletics Wellington registered
athletes.
