AW Twilight Track Meet # 4

Athletics Wellington Twilight Open Meeting # 4 – Newtown Park including AW 3000m Championships 

4th in  series of Wednesday  track meets for Wellington clubs and colleges. Entry is by Entry fee and pre-registration of members of other clubs affiliated to Athletics Wellington and member affiliated to Athletics NZ.   Athletes who are NOT affiliated including college athletes are  asked to contact info@athleticswellingon.org.nz for more information.

Meetings will include at least two sprints & two middle distance races. Inclusion of field events will be possible on special request provided support of officials and volunteers is available.

Meetings will have photo timing but with a limited number of officials and volunteers.  Timetabling will allow multiple events.  Athletes should check for start time updates. Results will be published through the AW webpage.

 Track Events: Men & Women:  100m, 200m, 1500m, 3000m AW Championships all grades 

Field Events: Men & Women: TBA

Age Grades: Men & Women U16 to Open including Masters.

Order of Track events, Men will race first followed by Women. Men & Women will compete concurrently in Field events.

Tuesday 23 January – 6.00pm Entries Close

• The link to the day-entry system for the meet is HERE
• The entry system is now Open with an $8.00 day-entry price/athlete.
• This entitles you to enter multiple events on the day.

Wednesday 13 December

5.30 pm   Officials & Volunteers report for Managers Meeting & Set up

• A call for officials who are available to officiate interested in learning.
• Please indicate your availability prior to meet HERE

5.15pm Athlete Reporting

• All athletes who have registered online arrive pick up Newtown Park Competition Bib #s at technical room entrance.
• Once registered athletes will need to check-in through the Technical Information Office to pick up Bib# and or your coloured sticker to show payment and registration then proceed to start Marshall zone for report time.
