Sola Power Academy Throws Meet – National Permit Meeting
Every year, Sola Power Throwing Academy hosts a permit competition for Shot Put, Discus, Hammer and Javelin.
The Academy has hosted 15 annual throws competitions and in 2024 opened a brand new Javelin runway to complete the facility. Sola Power now hosts a permit competition in every throwing event. The competition has seen the likes of world-class athletes including Jacko Gill, Lauren Bruce, Ben Langton-Burnell, and many international athletes from across the globe.

Sola Power Annual event will be held over two days, Friday 30th and Saturday 31st January 2026
DRAFT – FRIDAY PROGRAMME:(approx. times only – it may vary slightly on the day)
3.00pm – athlete check in & warm up, plus welcoming

6.00pm: Discus (M)

10.00am – athlete check-in & warm up, plus welcoming
10.30am: Shot Put (W)

12.00pm: Discus (W)
1.00pm: Shot Put (M)
2.00pm: Hammer (W)
3.30pm: Hammer (M)
COST: $15 per event
PRIZES: Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for each event.
