SEASON Track & Field Registration for Newtown Park Events 2022
Athletes should be a member of Athletics NZ member registered with an Athletics Wellington club or another NZ club.
All athletes must have a Newtown Park Competition ID Bib Number for 2022-2023 season.
This is separate to your membership registration through your club. The Newtown Park Competition ID Bib is required for results management purposes which you attain as below.
To be allocated your season long Newtown Park Competition ID bib for 2022-2023 athletes need to check in to the Technical room [near finish line] to be issued with this Bib ID. You can pick up this Bib on your first competition day at Newtown Park. Athletes are only required to do this once for the season.
Once issued on your first day of competition for the season at Newtown this competition bib number must be retained for all Newtown Park Open and Twilight meetings during the 2022-2023 season. There are NO entry fees for these meetings.
Exceptions to the above will be designated Athletics Wellington meetings which will have specified entry process and fees for athletes including the Athletics Wellington Championships and Melrose Shield meetings.
Special meetings in the region like ‘Central Teams League’, ‘The Agency 10K’ and ‘Team Ledger Harcourts Capital Classic’ and ‘Sola Power Throwers Meet’ will have their own registrations, entry fee and ID bib numbers.
All Secondary School athletes are ‘WELCOME’ and will be issued a number as above.
