Registrations of interest are now open for the Wellington team for the Grade 12/13 Interprovincials competition 2021:
Dates: Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 April 2021
Venue: Manawatu Community Athletics Track, Palmerston North
Hosted by: Athletics Manawatu–Wanganui
This teams-based competition is open to all 12 & 13-year-old athletes. Each athlete must compete in 4 events. 3 Track & 1 Field or 3 Field & 1 Track or 2 track & 2 field.
Any 12 & 13-year-old athlete who is interested in being part of this elite competition should complete a registration of interest at this link https://forms.gle/8v4d3qrzjGB6JffM8 as soon as possible, and not later than 31 December 2020.
Selectors have already started to monitor the results of all 12 & 13 year old athletes since the start of season, and will continue doing so until the team is selected.
Accommodation: Because the 12/13 IP is not being held over the Easter weekend in 2021, accommodation will be distributed between Massey University hostels. NZ Rugby Institute, hotels, and motels in Palmerston North City.
Further information will be provided to everyone that completes the RoI.
The full team will consist of 44 athletes – eleven in each of the four grades: 12 year old boys, 12 year old girls, 13 year old boys and 13 year old girls. There will also be 8 managers appointed.
