Athletics Wellington Winter Teams
Earlier this week the selection policy for Athletics Wellington winter teams was published.
Selection is available to athletes for the leading Cross Country and Road Championships. FIrst opportunity goes to our youth athletes in Secondary School with possible selection to the Wellington Interprovincial Relay Cross Country teams at Massey University in Palmerston North on Sunday 18 June , the day after the in School’s individual championships.
Two opportunities arise at Spa Park,Taupo, during the month of July, the venue for North Island Cross Country and the NZ Championships and then back to Palmerston North for the NZ Road Championships.
Athletes are urged to ensure they register their expression of interest for the various events to gain selection.
