Athletics Wellington Track and Field Season Opens at Newtown Park
Tomorrow should see a fine day for the beginning of what will be a busy season at Newtown Park with opening of the Senior Track & Field season. The 2021-2022 season has four feature events scheduled for Newtown Park, starting with the Agency 10km event on Saturday November 13th featuring the Athletics NZ 10,00m championships . The Children’s North Island Colgate Games are scheduled for the 7 – 9 January 2022, the Team Ledger Harcourts Capital Classic on Friday February 4th, and the NZ Master Athletics Championships from March 11th – 13th.
