If you are interested in competing as part of the Athletics Wellington Team at either Athletics New Zealand Cross Country or Road Champs, please complete the form as soon as possible, as we will be looking to name the team for the XC champs after the Needle Relays on July 25th.
We will be selecting only from those who have completed an EOI for this season. This will give those selected the best chance to get good prices on flights to Dunedin, as our XC champs are only 2 weeks before Nationals. If you intend on going to Dunedin, we suggest that you book flights as soon as possible. The Athlete Information Form (AIF) will be sent to the team named and needs to be completed by July 31st , so the team accommodation in Dunedin can be finalised.
The team for the Road champs will be named after the Wgtn Road champs, which gives about 7 weeks to Road Nationals to organise travel to Auckland. The AIF for the Road Champs will need to be completed by Sept 30th, again to enable finalising of the accommodation.
In both cases, the accommodation will be available for both Friday & Saturday nights, but the centre subsidy only covers one nights accommodation. The cost of the second night is $60 and can be paid via the Athletics Wellington shop on their website. CLICK HERE
The NZSS relay teams will be selected after the Karori relays on Aug 26th, so EOIs for this team need to be completed by Aug 27th. Note that if you complete this EOI, you are guaranteeing that you will be in Hawera on the Sunday morning, the day after the individual races.

Event date: Sunday 20th September NZSSXC Relays in Hawera. Complete form by 27 August (Teams selected by College Sport Wellington)
Event date: Sunday 29th August NZ Cross Country Champs in Dunedin. Complete form by 14th August.
Event date: Sunday 7th November: NZ Road Champs in Auckland. Complete form by 17th September.
Note: there will be no team for North Island Cross Country Champs as this event was cancelled for 2020.
